Wedding Recap
Well the wedding weekend was a success! B and Al got married and everything went great. I literally slept in my bed Sunday all day until 630 pm with a couple times to get up and eat and then go right back to the couch or our bed. It was crazy I never slept so much. I was exhausted!
Heres a little recap of the weekend. First of all let me say that my stinking camera's battery died before the ceremony even started. so some of these pictures i stole off of facebook.
Friday during the day Allie and I were setting up and watching the tent people put the tent tables and chairs up. Then we had to rush home to shower and get ready for the rehearsal. Jeff and I headed to the church and then we went to a delicious seafood place on the water for the rehearsal dinner. I have lived here for so long and have never heard of it. The food was amazing we will definitely be going back. I was already tired at this point but we went back to Brandon's house so the boys could drink some with Brandon on his last night of being single. I fell asleep on Brandon's couch.
Saturday morning came early and we had to get our hair done. My hair turned out awful. It looked like a birds nest. The lady doing it was completely clueless on life. Everyone elses hair was great. Then we went and had a little lunch at Al's parents house and off to the church for pictures. The ceremony was great we were all teary eyed when the bride walked down the aisle.
The weather was amazing for the reception. We really could have not hoped for it to be any better. Everything turned out great and it was lots of fun.

Wedding Weekend
Well just wanted to say bon voyage for the weekend. My list of things to do is so long and the best friend is getting MARRIED on Saturday! I'm sure when she reads this a shear amount of nervousness is going to overwhelm her! All i have to say is the weather is going to be perfect. 0% chance of rain for this outdoor reception.
So anyways starting with getting my hair highlighted tomorrow and cut, a short dose of work in between then I am busy for the remainder of the weekend with wedding festivities. I hope everyone has a great one. I am charging my camera and I promise to take lots of pictures to come back with on sunday or monday depends how exhausted I am. (yes, allie a whole lot of pictures of us!)

Sad Story
I came across a super sad story on TomKat Studio's blog. I wanted to pass the information along if anybody is interested in helping this family out and buy a bow. I can not imagine what this family is going through. They are still waiting for answers as to what caused the death of their little girl.

Taylor Paige Cosmas was born on November 15, 2009 to Katie and Mark Cosmas. She was a happy healthy baby, full of smiles and laughter. She brought so much happiness to Katie and Mark and everyone around them.

On Sunday, April 18, 2010 Katie, Mark and Taylor started a typical Sunday morning. They made breakfast and cuddled on the couch as a family going about their regular daily schedule. Katie prided herself on her schedule... morning nap time came and Katie put Taylor in her crib. Taylor was laughing and playing with her feet. She cried and Katie did what any mom would do and waited for her to cry herself to sleep...
It is unclear what happened. We are waiting for news from the medical examiner but when Katie went to check on Taylor she had vomitted blood and was rushed to the hospital.
Taylor passed away on April 18, 2010

Fabric Pockets for Invites
The new thing in the wedding world is fabric pockets for invitations. I was a little before my time because I did this last year for my Save the Dates. But it really is a great way to punch up even your actual wedding invitations. here are some of the pictures i've been coming across.
Here are my Save The Dates. I had a family friend sew all of them. As I could never do it or have the patience. I just bought the fabric and showed her what I want. Then my dad and I cut the ribbon out and had someone made stickers with a G and put them all together.

Ballroom Wedding!
ok all of you know if you've been reading my blog that I am totally not a ballroom type of person unless its draped with fabric everywhere. I love the ceremony area, absolutely beautiful! The florals are amazing!

Playing Catch Up
Well our Mother's Day weekend was a success. Lunch yesterday was great with my mom and my brother-in-laws mom. Jeff's mom couldn't make it. But the food was delicious and we all just hung out together.
Jeff spent majority of the weekend celebrating his friend Brandon's last weekend of being single since the wedding is this weekend. They went to TPC, out to dinner, golfing and just drank a lot. So that was fun for the boys.
I have such a busy week ahead of myself running errands,doing a little shopping, getting my hair highlighted, then this weekend we have Al and B's wedding.
I was browsing my usual blogs and man oh man did I find the cutest thing for my sister's baby shower. Ok she is not even pregnant YET, but I have a file going of pictures for her shower. Yes, I am crazy! Lets just say its a whole dessert candy bar. It was precious. I can't show a picture because I know she reads my blog. =)
I have a file for house pictures i like, interior designs, weddings, bridal showers, baby showers. You name it. So whenever I am ready to buy a house or throw a certain shower I am ready to go.
My parents are in the beginning stages of completely re-doing their entire house. All the tile and carpet is tore up. They ordered their new granite and the wood should be on the way in not to long. I am going to take a before picture. So when its all finally done everyone will see the changes. I can not wait to see the wood floors, since i am a big fan of wood floors. I actually saw a picture of exactly the color I want in my house.
So here are the wood floors I want. only thing I want different is I want them to be hand scraped and not so smooth.
I also decided its about time I go get a job at Pottery Barn. Who knew if you work there you get 40% off everything! Music to my ears. Since I want to buy everything from there why would I work there like 10 hours a week and get 40% off everything I want especially when we get a house down the road and need to furnish EVERYTHING!

Happy Mother's Day Weekend
Just wanted to wish all the moms out there a great weekend. Especially my own precious mother! She is so awesome and words cant describe all she does for Jeff and I that I am grateful for.
