AH 118 Days

Well Sunday is mine and Jeff's lazy day, we did go to the bar to watch the Jags play which was miserable. Jeff gets pretty into the games and he got so upset before halftime we had to leave. So other than that we have just been watching football, cleaning and doing laundry. I then get on the knot and see we are almost into double digits for days to the wedding. We are 118 days away. I told Jeff and he just smiled and then i started to stress out. I called my mom immediately and said man do we have to get on top of things this week.

I have been putting more time and effort into finding a first dance song for Jeff and I. I really like the older classic songs but still can not find the perfect one. Any suggestions?

My invitations for the third time came in on Friday, but I was already in North Carolina, so hopefully when I get home those will be done and the perfect color and the envelopes will be back from the calligrapher and I can send those out. As some of our guests are already booking flights for the wedding.

Friday we are heading to Boston, which I am beyond excited for I have never been. Jeff is playing Boston College, but my parents and my sister are coming along with and we are going to go shopping and find my mom a dress for the wedding. So lots of things have go to start coming together. I hope everyone had a great weekend. We had a blow out yesterday for football. They played Elon so the second half Jeff did not even play which made it that much more boring. But the weather was beautiful I am ready for the cold weather to wear some boots and scarfs. N.C. Bound

Yesterday my brother and I did not have the best of days. We have the house to ourselves so we bought bottles of wine, made some dinner and drank the night away. It was actually pretty relaxing. So to continue on making myself feel better I think i am going to head to the mall do a little shopping and I don't feel like waiting to see Jeff so I am going to go ahead and head on up to Winston Salem. We play Elon this weekend and it a night game so we have all day to do some tailgating so it will be lots of fun.

Who doesn't love Grey?

Well after the wedding Jeff and I will be moving into one of my parents rental houses for the time being until we see where he gets a job and so forth. Well the house needs a fresh coat of paint so I have been trying to persuade my dad to pick a grey color for the guest bathroom. I think grey is amazing and look so great against white. So I found these pictures and hopefully I will get him to sway in my direction. The second picture is my favorite shade of grey!





I also came across this picture and man I would die for a closet like this. I am such a big fan of chandeliers hanging in the closet I think its amazing.

Real Wedding Tuesday

Well if you noticed I deleted my last post about the working world. Well these past two days have been a living hell for me. I could give you pages of stories from what these eight year old children were like, but you probably would not believe what i said it just is absolutely ridiculous. But the school and the situation was not good and just not somewhere I needed to be. It was not a place I could wake up and go to every single day. If i knew more information about the school prior to accepting the job I would have not done so. So I kindly removed myself from the situation and the school was not even surprised I guess a lot of teachers they hire come in for a day or two and say oh no way, which was my reaction. It was just a completely different world. So with that said I am unemployed again =)

Sad to say I have done absolutely nothing for the wedding lately. I have got to get on the ball with getting my veil made I have been slacking off and booking marble slab. I did do a little shopping today and picked up some more of my french wire chargers from pottery barn. For my birthday my parents bought me majority of the french wire set with the bowls, wine rack, candle holders and so forth. But I am a charger lover and I wanted some more of them. I think they are just amazing.



But for the real wedding. They are some pretty bright colors but I like alot of the details they chose to do. Such as the crystals and branches. I love the draped tent. I really love the way they food was presented it was really cool. But check it out for yourself.

Real Wedding Tuesday

In my opinion nothing beats a beautiful church with a long aisle and stained glass. This definitely fits into that category.
Check this wedding out. I also love the linens she chose for her tables. Patterned linens are my favorite and will definitely be taking place in my reception.

Home From a Long Weekend

Well I just got home about an hour ago from North Carolina. I had such a great weekend minus the loss on Saturday. but how do you expect to win with 4 turnovers, But I'll just leave it at that. It was so exciting though because Jeff was the captain for the game. I was so upset I forgot my camera but thankfully his aunt and mom had their cameras and took lots of pictures so I will post some once they email them to me. But hopefully things can only go up from here for their season. But it was great to see jeff's parents and his aunt nan from up north. Also Chels and Bri. We had a great time catching up till 3 in the morning on Friday while the boys were at the hotel. We went to dinner and a movie last night with Trey and Chelsea and saw Inglorious Bastards. Chelsea and I spent majority of the movie hiding our eyes. It was very graphic but overall had a pretty good story line.

When I was driving my 7 hour drive home I started brainstorming all the things that I need to get done soon. But all I could think about was my invitations. The first batch we got the pink was not the right color in the background way to bright, so the girl graciously printed them again and my mom got them in the mail on Friday when I was already on the road and called me and it did not sound to promising that it was the right color. Well of course first thing I do when I walked through the door was go look at them and I about fell over. It still is too bright of a pink. I am having such a hard time understanding why we can not get the perfect pink when the sample I was sent was right but now the invitations aren't. So I am beyond frustrated. But hopefully it will all work out. But I also came home to my passport so that was good. At least that is out of the way so we are set for the honeymoon. Other than that I think I am going to change the guys tuxes so my dad and I are going to re-pick those and I have got to start looking into some music. I have no idea what Jeff and I are even going to dance to.

Yay Football Season!

Its finally football season. As much as I complain and whine that Jeff is gone. I absolutely loove football season. i love everything about it tailgating, drinking beer, watching jeff play, the parade they do before the games, having friends and family come and visit North Carolina, getting to wear all my black clothing i own. I definitely lucked out with his team colors because half of my closet is black and white. I'm so ready to be up there. I am heading off tomorrow morning, hopefully I may not have to work so that would be great as I am so excited to see Bri and Chelsea! I was surprised when Jeff told me he was slightly nervous, but I am sure he is feeling a million different emotions because this is his last first game of the season. He said this is a lot of lasts for me this season. Its definitely bittersweet for me.
But watch the game if you have nothing to do on your saturday afternoon. 3:30 on ABC. Goo Deacs & # 64

I think I have mentioned on here about Soiree Events and how I would love to have a wedding in Charleston, South Carolina so they could do my wedding. They are just simply amazing. Here is another example of their work that leave me speechless.

Veils

Well I do not have a veil for my dress. I can not find the right one to match the coloring of my dress or the look I want. My dress it not white but it is not ivory, it is a shade in between so it has been pretty difficult to find the perfect veil. My dress does need a few alterations so the lady that will be altering my dress actually makes custom veils. I was real excited to find that out and she does a really awesome job with the ones I have seen so far. I will be bringing these pictures to her to show the kind of veil I want. But I also added some more pictures because this wedding was just really amazing out in Arizona.

Etsy Find

Well my birthday weekend was awesome! Friday some friends came over and we had a great time eating, drinking and playing catch phrase. Saturday I just relaxed all day with my friend Liz then I went to dinner at Bonefish with Lauren for drinks and appetizers so it was a great weekend.

I am a true etsy lover. I have bought quite a few things off of it for the wedding and also just household items. I came across some of these pillows and just thought they were really cute. Of course the grey color is my favorite but I like the second picture design the best. But look at some of her different ruffle designs. I think im going to purchase some for our bedroom.
