Successful Birthday Weekend
I had such a great birthday weekend with my family and friends! I will have to get some pictures from my friends because I have 0! I have spent the day relaxing and doing my lesson plans for the week so I have no goods for you.

Dyson
I am about to hit the sheets, but just wanted to post first. After work I went and picked up some dinner for my mom and we all went and ate dinner at my parents house to celebrate my moms bday. We just hung out and my parents decided to give me my birthday present from them tonight.
I got this beauty! which jeff and i have been wanting for a while.
I was so super excited! I came home and vacuumed my entire house. It is so nice to have our own vacuum. Now we no longer have to go borrow my sister's anymore! So with that said I'm going to bed on a good note!

Weekend Recap
I had a great day at school today so I actually don't feel like going straight to bed! Maybe I'm in a better mood since its mine and my mom's birthday week!! My mom's birthday is tomorrow, my parents anniversary is Wednesday and my Birthday is Saturday. =) So with being in such a good mood I decide to come home and make dinner. I really have to be in the mood because I make nothing short of a huge mess when I cook! We had BBQ baby back ribs. I had to slow cook them for so many hours in the oven but it was worth it because the meat just fell of the bone, then we had grilled asparagus and twice baked potatoes.
We had a great weekend that went by way to fast! Friday we did nothing except rent a red box that was awful. I highly don't recommend Bounty Hunter. Saturday we went and had lunch with Al & B then went back to see their little princess's nursery which is done! It was so overwhelming at how small everything was, but super exciting. Less than two weeks till her due date, so she could come out any day now.
Saturday night we headed downtown to the Jags game and tailgated which seemed like forever since the game kept being delayed due to rain. We finally got into the game at the perfect time for kick off and we just sat in the rain for three quarters. I was soaking wet and by that time it was already midnight and the fourth quarter was just starting, so we hit the road back home since we were dog sitting my moms and sister's dogs.

Birthday Countdown!
I had the longest day. I had school and then we had open house tonight with all the parents and my feet are killing me! But I came home to a nice little surprise! The hubs gave me my first birthday present! My birthday isn't for a week and half and in our house we have birthday week but he gave it to me a little early. I guess when he took me to the At&t store the other day to make sure i wanted the phone he already had pre-ordered it. But yes, because I am a child I threw a fit because I wanted him to buy it for me right then and there. ha i laughed when he told me that!

I'm Back!
Sorry for my lack of posting. i got through my first week of school and it went well with all the craziness that comes along with it. I was extremely exhausted waking up at 6 every morning. I had to come home and take a quick nap make some dinner then go back to bed. Hopefully my body will adjust to these early hours!
We had a relaxing weekend with a whole lot of sleeping involved. Jeff took me shopping yesterday to see what I wanted for my birthday. I narrowed it down to my other wedding band or the new blackberry torch. I think I decided on the blackberry torch for my birthday and can just get my band for christmas or our 1 year anniversary, hopefully.
If your a blackberry person you have got to check it out. Its the best of both worlds between of a blackberry/iPhone. Its glorious!
So hopefully I will be opening that on my birthday!
We are also starting to do some research for our 1 year anniversary trip. We were planning on going to Vegas and hoping some of our friends would be able to go with us so we won't be going by ourselves as Jeff would spend his time in the casino and I would want to do shows and clubs etc. But it's not a good time for lots of our friends to go as people are having babies or trying, or getting married. So we are thinking vegas can wait and we are looking into other options.
I was thinking Wine Country, New York, an island of some sort. jeff was thinking a cruise, but I would prefer not a cruise. We have a four day weekend so it can not be too long but does anyone have any recommendations of places they have been that would possibly be good for a four day weekend? We could use all the ideas we can get. I want to start looking into booking sooner or later so we can get a better price. so hopefully we will figure it out in the next month or two.

Please excuse me!
Sorry I've been MIA. we headed up to charlotte for our friend's engagement party and had a great time. It was like a mini wake forest reunion. We were so exhausted to do anything yesterday when we got home except sleep! I had meetings all day today, have orientation tomorrow and the kids start on wednesday so needless to say I am extremely busy and tired from getting my room together. So forgive me for my absence probably for the next few days. Hope everyone had a great weekend.

Birthday Wants!
It's my birthday month! So I figured I should make up a little birthday list. I really do not want to much just a few things.
Here are my top 5 things-
1. My Wedding Album!! I've been waiting so eagerly to get my album! It was said to take 3 months for the design and we are over 4 so I am hoping to get the rough design soon! I'm so excited i just want to see it. Noone can really buy me that as its already bought but its my number 1 birthday wish!
2. Blackberry Torch-I am totally a blackberry person. I like the internet on the iphone and thats about it and now looky looky. They came out with a touch screen and a type pad for the new blackberry. I am in love! I must get this!
3. iPad- ever since I got my iMac almost two years ago I am completely an apple computer user. This would be fantastic for road trips and just to take with me every day
4. Dyson Vacuum- Jeff and I didn't get a vacuum for our wedding and we love to vacuum the house way to much for a normal person. So we have to go and borrow my sisters dyson so we are hoping to get one of our own!
5. 2nd wedding band- this one is the for the hubs. I want another wedding band for the other said of my ring!!

Back to School
I am going to be a slacker this next week on posting as its back to school time and I have got to get my classroom in order and ready to go for the kiddies next week. So Sorry!
The bench is completed and my mom and I brought it to my classroom today. That bench got the best of me some days and it was a royal pain in the butt, but with the help of my dad, Ralph and the hubs it all came together and fits perfectly!
here are the boys cutting all the wood! ha that is my dad with the motorcycle cap on. he is bald and was sweating so bad and ralph had that for him to wear, cracks me up!
Here is the final product in my classroom, i need to get a couple more pillows, but then a teacher next door said only thing is kids with lice and pillows do not mix well and I almost lost it. that grosses me out so I may lay off the idea of pillows.
I am off to go back to school clothes shopping. I will be back when I have some time but I have a few pictures from a wedding where I just love the manzanita branches for the ceremony.
