Not enough hours in a day!

This is how I slightly am feeling right now. There are not enough hours in a day to get everything I need to get done espeically when I worked 10 hours today! I went to my moms tonight after dinner and went through all the goodies I collected over planning my wedding. Its ridiculous how much I have. I am going to start an inventory for my business one day because I am only accumulating more and more stuff. Only problem left is where to put it all i have no storage so my moms upstairs bonus room is good for now.

But I am off to finish some last minute projects. I got my favors in the mail for the wedding and they turned out super pretty. I would really pleased with them. Then Im going to get some rest after spending my entire day with four and five year olds it was tiring. Tomorrow and Saturday are completely swamped with things to do. My list is never ending and I keep processing what needs to be done in my head. So I hope everyone has a great weekend. I will be back Sunday with some pictures.

Cupcakes vs Wedding Cake

So one of my readers mentioned something about preferring cupcakes than cakes
This has become common in weddings. Lots of brides want cupcakes instead of a huge wedding cake. Ironically enough my friend who is getting married in May is doing this. It is a great alternative to cakes if you aren't a huge cake fan. There are plenty of cute ways to do this. You could do a whole dessert bar and have different things to choose from and have cupcakes on all different heights and sizes of cake stands. You could get a cupcake tower and have it match your wedding theme. Here are a few pictures to look at- all super cute ways to do cupcakes. It also is way easier to serve one per guest.

Look at this cute bake shop. Of course why would Jacksonville have such a cute place and produce such amazing cakes. But I love some of the cakes they do. Amazing!

Back To School

I never thought once I graduated college a year ago that I would ever go back to school. But I have come to the decision to go back and become a certified wedding planner. one step closer to opening up my own business. As soon as Jeff knows what his plan is either with football or a job then I will start. I just will be sad if we have to end up moving and I wont be able to start my business with my sister. But we will see what happens.

I have done a little research and think I am going to do it all online so I don't have to go to classes and will be much easier then I can go ahead and do it at my own pace. So back to school I go possibly over the summer time once school gets out and we sort of have an idea of where we will be.

It so pretty in Jacksonville today! I know two girls getting married so they are going to have a beautiful day! Congrats Margaret and Erica!

We are heading over to a friends in a little while to have a BBQ! So we are off to enjoy this beautiful weather as well whenever Jeff gets home from surf fishing.

Pink and Bows

Jeff and I are soo super excited! One of my best friends Allie and one of Jeffs best friends Brandon, are pregnant!!

We have been so excited and anticipating the sex of the baby. All of our friends have been going back and forth whether it is a girl or boy forever. Allie and I were both pretty sure it was girl but the boys seemed to be positive it was a boy.


Long and behold the girls were right. They found out this morning it is a precious little girl. I was so excited when I got the call! We couldn't be happier for the two of them. They are so special to us and now we are going to have a little princess to play with.
They are naming her Camdyn! Super cute!

So of course Jeff and I said time to go shopping! It is amazing the amount of baby stuff out there. I had no idea. Girl clothes are definitely way cuter than boy clothes. There is just not a wide assortment for boys at all. It sort of makes me want to have a little baby to buy all this cute stuff, but Jeff just laughed at me and said uh not for a few years. At least I will have little baby Camdyn to play with when allie and brandon need a break.

So Congratulations Allie and Brandon. We love you guys and are super excited for all the festivities in the months to come!
