Real Wedding Tuesday

Jeff and I went and met with our planner and the coordinator at the club and finalized all the details. We are really excited now that everything is set and we will be making no more changes to anything. i think its going to work out great. if only the rain could stop by night time. The weather says scattered thunderstorms during the day and showers at night so hopefully it will move through quickly! fingers crossed if not oh well!

I can't believe this is my last Real Wedding Tuesday before I am a married woman! I found a colorful wedding shot by Vue Photography. I love the chandeliers hanging outside in the tress, great touch!

Oh the weather outside

I have been checking the weather forecast on a daily basis and it does not look like the rain is going anywhere. It still is 50% chance of scattered thunderstorms. Ah! The only reason I really care about the weather is i picked this venue for the views and if its raining the views wont be that great, but what can i do!

Jeff and I have to go down to the University Club today to do a final walk through with our wedding planner and the coordinator of the club to go through every detail throughout the space. We are planning to not be able to take pictures outside so Jeff and i are going to walk over to the hotel and look around for a good spot for us to do our "First Look" of each other and some other places we could possibly take pictures with our bridal party.

Week of the Wedding Already

My bridesmaid luncheon was nice with my girls and Jeff and I's mom's. Carly one of my bridesmaid was out of town so it was just seven of us. But it was nice, everyone looked great in their hats. The food was really good. Every time I go to River City Brewing Company the food is awesome. Jeff and I went a few years back for our 2nd or 3rd anniversary and I remember it being great then too.

I can't believe it is the week of the wedding. It is slightly overwhelming but also so exciting. I just can't wait for all of our out of town guests to come and all the people that mean most to us be in the same place to celebrate Jeff & I's love for each other. I think we are pretty set for everything minus a few minor things but I think from here on out I just have to let everything be how it is.
One of Jeffs groomsmen can't make it due to a football something or other, so there have some been minor things but my mom just tells me I can't control it. I have been staulking the weather like crazy and its suppose to warm up I think the high is 72 and the lows are in the high 50s but its 50% chance of rain. I have been praying like crazy that the rain goes away. It really wouldnt matter to much if it did rain except for outside pictures but it still would be nice just to not have to worry about the weather. hopefully I will be able to blog a couple more times this week before things get extra crazy and alot of our out of town friends start getting here on Thursday.

Kentucky Derby

well today is my kentucky derby bridesmaid luncheon. so i am getting ready for that. i should have some cute pictures of us girls in our hats.
i just looked at the weather and it use to be 20% chance of rain on the wedding and now its 60%. ah making me so mad. its going to be warm so at least it wont be raining and freezing but still i wont be able to take pictures outside at all if its raining. but what can you do. my mom keeps asking me can you control the rain?
another bad thing wedding related. Jeff got a phone call from one of his groomsmen last night (who is a really good football player and will be drafted to the pros coming up) well his agent called him and told him he was invited to some football something or other which happens to be next weekend on our wedding and he really cant pass it up. So he wont be making it. I understood but i was still pissed because i have the line up done for the wedding, my programs printed and everything else so its a pain but i mean things happen i suppose. I just cant let it get to me. Other than that I think things are going great everything is ready to go. I have to get a few more minor things done but all the big stuff is done and boxed up. I will post later on some pictures of our lunch today. have a great weekend.

Where is the time going?

Sorry I have not been able to blog lots lately I have been super super busy its so crazy. Today I was on the go since 10 and my mom and I ended our night with our weekly Mexican dinner to relax. But I went to finalize my flowers with my florist, got my hair done, went to my final dress fitting, found someone else to do a marble slab (thats another ridiculous story by itself)and then we went and tried to finalize a bunch of stuff for the rehearsal for Jeffs mom since she does not live in Jacksonville. It was a long day and I am so ready for the wedding just to be here. Especially when I put my dress and veil all on together it made me excited and ready for the day.

My list of things to do is dwindling so hopefully I can enjoy the next week and just relax. Saturday me and my girls are going to have lunch for my bridal luncheon all in our cute Kentucky derby hats. Then Tuesday I have my final walk through then I think we are good to go. What happens happens after that because its too late. I am so excited I can staulk the weather now and it says 67 is the high and 54 is the low with 20% chance of rain. PERFECT weather. I hope it stays like that it would be beautiful. But i have to say i rather it be cold and not raining more than anything. I have been praying to God every night for clear blue skies.

Our entire house is being filled with boxes as Im starting to box stuff up to send off to my wedding planner, she is coming to pick it all up. who knew i accumulating so much stuff over the months. i will definitely be selling all of it after the wedding.

I have a couple vendors I have to brag about because they have been so great to work with but will do that another day because one is the girl who made one of my bridesmaid gifts that i love and wish i ordered one for myself. My mom saw me wrapping them tonight and said ooo i want one of those. I will have to wait till i give it to my girls before i tell yall about her.

Couples Shower

one of my closest friends and bridesmaid threw Jeff and I our couples shower this past Saturday. She went above and beyond and it was so nice. Everyone has a great time with food and booze and we sang karaoke until so late at night. Ive attached lots of pictures from the night because it was hard to choose. We played a butt grabbing game to see if I could find Jeff's out of all the boys and if Jeff could find mine out of all the girls. He actually did pick mine out and I picked his high school football coach's butt, it was close enough. We can't thank lauren enough for all she did we are so blessed to have such great friends and family!
