Top 5 things When Planning a Wedding

Sorry it has taken me so long to post this. I have had a busy week and this is the first time I have had time to sit down and type it out. Then I honestly just typed out a huge post with pictures and everything and it deleted. So mad. So i'm not retyping it all. I have zero patience. So this is all your getting, sorry!

Here are the top five things you need to remember when your planning a wedding.
1. Flowers
2. Photography
3. Chivari Chairs (NOOO chair covers)
4. Linens
5. Uplighting

First flowers are so important to transform a place. You can put them everywhere from the tables to the ceilings to the doors, you can mix them up with branches and having candles and crystals hanging etc. Some flowers are very expensive like peonies and stephanotis, but you can choose different flowers to make it work for your budget.

Photography is the only way to remember your special day so do not skip out on a decent photographer. Get a great one and ask to look at their albums!

Chairs covers are a NO NO. they never fit correctly they look awful. Don't do it. People do it only because its a cheaper option. But chivari chairs are worth every penny and you can find them for 10 bucks a chair. its not that bad. If your having an outside wedding do the fold up wood ones. It's funny by the end of planning our wedding, my husband knew how important chairs were. He would see pictures of weddings without chivari's and be oh no look at the chairs. The wedding planner I am working with is obsessed with chairs just like I am, she is actually going to buy chivari chairs to rent them out to her clients for cheaper just so people use them because she hates the look of chair covers so much!
Please look at the fit of this chair cover. It just doesn't work.

You need to have a nice linen. If your having a more formal wedding you need to have something to replicate that. I personally love patterns on tables, hence my linen choice for my wedding. I also like pintuck linens and lamour. Polyester isn't my favorite unless you having an outdoor reception. Yes linens can be expensive to rent from 30 to 60 bucks for some but do not skip out on it because your guests will be on top of them all night and touching them and you dont want them to be nasty.

The picture below from our wedding and show the linens we chose and you can see the uplighting and candles. It really makes the room have a little pop of color.

Uplighting! it makes your reception fun. add a bunch of candles with it. It makes the atmosphere romantic. You can pick whatever color of uplighting you want to accent your wedding. It makes a great backdrop for pictures!

Those are the top five most important things when you planning a wedding. Of course your dress is important, but for your reception those are the most important. Really think about what you want your wedding to look like and go from there.
